A photo on Friday, because sometimes all you really need is the photo. But usually I can’t help but unnecessarily say a few things about that photo.
This simple idea, turning the closed captioning on while kids watch television, is brilliant. This idea was suggested at a teaching conference I attended a long while back. Given, my kids watch very little TV, but I always have the closed captioning on when they do – with my 5 year old AND 12 year old. Flipping that nifty closed captioning switch will help kids with tracking print and sight word recognition too.
If your children watch TV you might as well pop a little reading in too!
Hope you have a lovely weekend friends! We will be getting some new fluffy babies this weekend, a sure sign of spring on the farm. Can’t wait to introduce you.
