How to Play and Learn with these Art Easter Egg Printables:
Of course, the very best way to play and learn with these art Easter Egg printables is by giving them to your little ones with a bunch of crayons, markers, stickers, and supplies and letting them get as creative as they want. But if you are looking for a few other ideas…
Young Learners:
Get Snipping! Cut out the Easter egg shapes for your child and have her practice her scissor skills by trying to snip on the zigzag and wavy lines. This is excellent scissor practice and a fun way to strengthen little hands as well.
Build a puzzle! Now that the pieces are cut out, have your child try to build that egg shape again by putting the pieces back together. You can even add some glue so and a piece of paper so the Easter egg can be completely rebuilt.
Get Patterning! Have your child create a pattern by colouring one part of the egg with one colour, the next section a different colour, and repeat.
Get Painting! I am not sure about what it is like in your home, but in our home, painting is kind of a fancy thing! Grab out those paints and let your child paint their Easter eggs.
Older Learners:
Shade and Tint! Have your child choose one colour of paint. Paint the middle section of the Easter egg that colour. Now have her add some white to make the colour lighter and paint another section that colour, or add some black and paint a section that colour. She can draw more lines on the eggs to make smaller sections to paint.
Puzzle Mix up! Cut up those shaded Easter eggs and mix all of the pieces together. Now have your child try to sort the pieces and build her puzzles.
Hide and Find! Hide the pieces of the Easter eggs around your home and have your child try to find them all and reconfigure all of the Easter eggs. This activity works best when you have a prize at the end (chocolate works really well in my house!)
Alright, now that we know how to play and learn with these art Easter eggs, it is time to grab your free printable!
I hope you and yours have enjoyed these 5 days of freebies! I hope they have lightened your load just a little bit and added some fun to your days.
Thank you so much for joining me, sweet friend,
