Swept Away with Learning!

January 13, 2017 by Sarah Leave a Comment

I am over on the Melissa and Doug website today sharing how we have been swept away with learning.

I was thrilled to find some child sized brooms, mops, and dustpans as Christmas gifts for my little ones. My boys are such great helpers that they are forever using my cleaning tools – making it challenging for me to get a turn to use them.

I thought by getting them their own sets I might just get some more cleaning done. I was envisioning an immaculate home. Hmmm.

Turns out when I had the time to clean, I opted not to. Ha!

Instead we made up some really fun learning filled games. And then I spent the rest of my time coming up with fun titles that have to do with sweeping. Sweeping up the fun! Swept away with learning! You get the idea.

A fun way to practice counting, skip counting, spelling, and the ABCs! So many ways to play this game!

We found so many fun ways to use these cleaning tools (none of which involved actually cleaning). You can check them all out over on the Melissa and Doug Blog.

Thank you so much for reading friends. I hope you have a lovely weekend! See you Monday!
