Is there anything better than a spring rain? After the long, cold winter, we welcome that spring rain around here. Washing away all the snow and ice, getting the ground ready for our plants.

We really do welcome the rain. At least the first rain. And the second. Maybe even the third. But come that fourth spring shower, the novelty is likely wearing off around these parts.

With high energy little ones inside I have found a few fun ways to fill a rainy spring day. One of our current favourite activities is a balancing beam using kitchen chairs and 2 x 4’s.
