Happy Monday, my friend! This week we are continuing to celebrate How Wee Learn’s 10th Anniversary with 10 of my most popular freebies, plus a sale in my shop on my 10 most popular resources!
We are up to Day #6 today, and things are getting ✨ out of this world! ✨
Did you know that you can tell time using the STARS? How incredible is that? I mean, can you imagine being at a party, glancing up at the stars and stating the time? You would be the coolest person ever—though, I suppose it would depend on your circle of friends… in my circle? Skills like this are where it is at!
One of the coolest parts of homeschooling is learning all about this amazing world of ours right alongside my little ones. It turns out there are a ton of amazing things I was never taught in school. And now, I get the incredible privilege of spending my days in bewildering wonder of this amazing world!
Tell Time by the Stars
Today’s freebie is none other than the incredibly popular STAR CLOCK! With this handy little printable, you will be able to tell time using the stars. And if that does not sound incredible, you are in the wrong place, my friend!
It is actually quite simple to use. After assembling your star clock, you adjust the wheel so the current month is at the top. Then turn the little circle until the Big Dipper on your wheel is in the same orientation as the Big Dipper in the sky. Look at the number in the notch, and voila! You know the time!
Instructions are included with your printable, and you can also check out this blog post that breaks everything down for you, step-by-step: https://www.howweelearn.com/your-printable-star-clock-tell-time-by-the-stars/

And the other very best thing is that there is next to no prep.
Oh, and the other best thing is that they include hands-on activities to make learning engaging and magical—you can say goodbye to any power struggles!
AND the other best thing… okay, actually there are a lot of best things.
Family Unit Studies are right for you if:
