Happy New Year! I am so excited for the year ahead – 2016 is going to be amazing. I have big goals and big plans for this year, I hope you do too.
My Dad has always told me to set my sights high, and this year I am really going to listen to him … as in setting this ‘site’ high on my priority list (Like that one Dad?! Just kidding, my Dad doesn’t read my blog – but my Mama does and I know I can count on her to pass along a good play on words)
Anyways, I really am placing this space high in my life for the coming year. I have really come to love writing in this space. I truly love sharing ideas with you, my fellow Mamas and Teachers.
Since this is officially a photo on Friday, I thought I would share with you the top photo (well, photo that link to the blog post – kind of cheating, I know) of 2015.
And since I am already cheating, I thought I would share the top 5 posts. Just to give you lots of ideas to start your New Year off with a bang!
Happy New Year Friends! Thank you for being here, for reading my ideas, and encouraging me with your loving and inspiring comments.
Now let’s do a quick reminisce of 2015 (try not to get too misty eyed and nostalgic when you see how tiny my babes were at the beginning of the year …. Mom) and then we will rock into 2016!
Here are the top posts of 2015:
75 Paper Plate Crafts. This one is also one of my favourites – you have good taste friends! There is just something about a good old fashioned paper plate craft. Cute and simple.
50 Simple Crafts for 2 Year olds. Interesting, as I am doing this round up I am finding a theme – simple. I do believe we like to keep things simple. These crafts are perfect introductions for toddlers to the magical world of creative art.
43 Quiet Time Activities for 2 Year Olds. Hmmm, I’m wondering if this is another theme? Two year olds. I bet a lot of you have toddlers. And as such, you definitely need this post on QUIET TIME. I am right there with you Mamas. A must.
Quiet Time Activities for 3 Year Olds. The need for quiet time definitely extends past the 2 year mark. I love these ones because they are almost exclusively mess free. Perfect for letting little ones do independently.
Why do Leaves Change Colour? This incredible science experiment is super awesome, so I am not at all surprised it snagged the fifth most popular post spot this year. It is simple, mesmerizing, and just plain cool.
There you have it – the best of How Wee Learn for 2015.
On to a new year of playful learning!
I hope you are having a fabulous New Year Day. Thank you for reading.
