A family unit study focuses on critical thinking and problem-solving, allowing children to dive deep into fascinating topics and engage in meaningful learning. When a child is engaged in what he or she is learning, that learning sticks. And when a child is engaged and fascinated by what he or she is learning, learning is amazingly fun for the whole family!
Each Unit Study covers 10 topics, and each of those 10 topics includes:
- An interesting fact and discussion question,
- Informative readings at your fingertips,
- A hands-on activity with materials you already have at home,
- ‘What’s Happening’ information to accompany your hands-on activity,
- A curated YouTube video,
- A math or literacy enrichment question (with three difficulty levels),

10 Books to Inspire Children to Start Your Own Business
Today, I want to share with you the 10 important topics for a business start-up and 10 fun and educational books that will get children excited about starting their very own business.
I recommend you take these books out from your local library if you are able to. I have also included Amazon links below, in case you would like to add them to your personal library.
Topic 1: What is an Entrepreneur?
What is an Entrepreneur: An entrepreneur is someone with ideas to start businesses, like a lemonade stand or dog walker, and work hard to make those ideas real. Entrepreneurs take risks, which means they try things that might not always turn out perfectly, but they learn and keep going.
