I earnestly try to create a quiet time box that isn’t too difficult or too facile. I also try to vary the type of items in each box. This can be quite a challenge with daily granddaughter care.
We have been struggling with meltdowns that are killing our evening time. A quiet time box would keep him engaged and learning giving mom and dad a break!

Quiet time worked well in our home, right before all 3 kids napped. Then twin big brothers stopped napping and keeping the house quiet for little sister to sleep is a struggle.
