Grade One and Two School Closure Homeschooling Printable Bundles

March 22, 2020 by Sarah 10 Comments

Welcome! I am a strong believer that we are better together and that we all need to pull together at this time. As you may know, I am Sarah, a seasoned classroom Teacher, a Reading Specialist, a Special Education Specialist, and for the last 3 years, a Homeschool Mom.

I have a skill set that can be very helpful to you right now and I am fully prepared to help you entirely.

This is my resource page for those families that have children in Grades One and Two and are dealing with school closures. I also have FREE resource pages available for children in Preschool and Kindergarten, and Grades Three and Four.

Here you will find:

  • Hands on, play based activities
  • simple printable worksheets (found at the bottom of this page)

My blog is FULL of hands on learning activities. I believe children learn best through play. However, I also recognize that this is a very unique situation we are facing.

These are unchartered waters, and a very stressful time.

During times like this, we may just need to choose a simpler option.

I have prepared for you “School Closure Homeschooling Printable Bundles”. These bundles are available to you and your little ones for FREE.

You can rest assured that these printable bundles will give your child a solid foundation in the core skills of Math and Literacy. There are 10 bundles in total – that is 10 weeks worth of easy, straightforward, meaningful learning.

The worksheets will take you about 15-20 minutes per day. That is it!

Is that enough? YES. Please trust me. It is plenty. You will be amazed at your child’s progression!

I hope these resources are helpful to you and your little ones at this time.

I will begin by sharing some simple, hands on play activities with you and then I will share ALL of the Grade One and Two homeschooling printable bundles.

Hands On Play Based Learning Ideas for 6 and 7 year olds:

Your child can and WILL learn so much simply from being with you throughout the day! Here are some simple, everyday things you can do at home that promote learning:

  • meal plan together
  • cook and bake together
  • play a board game or a card game
  • read, read, read, read
  • let them play, play, play, play!

Here are a few other hands on, play based resources:

I started homeschooling my 4th grader and kindergartner this week because of the quarantine. I downloaded these worksheets for this week and we used them this morning. The worksheets were PERFECT! Thank you so much for your hard work and all you do!

Additionally, when not under quarantine, I am a pre-school teacher and have used many of your quiet time ideas for quite boxes in my classroom.

You are so amazing for doing this! Thank you so much! I never expected to home-school, especially while still working full time from home. My daughter is already behind her grade level and has an IEP, but with school closed for an indefinite time, I am so worried about her progress. You have put my mind at ease, knowing that I can at least keep her mind active. Thank you!
