Math-U-See Giveaway!

October 10, 2016 by Sarah 195 Comments

Happy Thanksgiving! I know not everyone is celebrating today, but here in Canada we are, so I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. I love you guys! I love getting your comments, messages, and knowing that you are here with me. I am truly grateful for you and your support of this space.

I am also thankful for the amazing companies I get introduced to and that I get the chance to introduce to you as well. Even more so when they want to give something to you!

Leave a comment on the blog for a chance to win this Math-U-See set! Fabulous hands on math for kids

We have recently supplemented our Math curriculum with Math-U-See. I love how visual and meaningful it is. It absolutely gives my Sam the solid foundation in math that I am seeking for him.

He loves it too. And thanks to Math-U-See your little one might get to love it right along with my Sam!

Math-U-See is generously offering their Alpha Universal Set to one lucky winner!

The Math-U-See curriculum! This set includes all you need for your little one. Hands on math lessons explained in a way that simply makes sense.

The teacher in me knows that this is the foundation for math that little ones need – and the Mama in me knows that those blocks and hands-on activities are super engaging for my busy little boy.

Here is what Demme Learning has to say about their curriculum:

“Math-U-See is a complete K-12 math curriculum focused on homeschool and small group learning environments. We “Build Understanding” in students by using manipulatives in a multi-sensory, mastery-based approach suitable for all levels and learning styles. Each level focuses on a specific set of concepts while continuously reviewing and integrating previous concepts; other math topics are introduced where appropriate.”

To be entered to win this Math-U-See set simply click over to visit the Math-U-See website to read about all the awesome things they offer, and then leave a comment here telling me that you visited. A winner will be selected on Friday the 14th.

It has the manipulatives like Montessori but provides directed questions for the kids to accomplish. My guy likes hands-on stuff but unless he has a goal to do, he will opt for other things. This program looks like it could provide him with great interest with math.

I have heard great things about Math U See so I visited their website to see what they had to offer. Their material looks amazing! I love that it is mastery as my kids thrive with that style but it has the added value of manipulatives which is huge especially for my dyslexic child that likes to use her hands to figure out math equations. Would love to try this math curriculum! Thanks for sharing!
