Earlier this week, I shared a watercolor crayon resist bee art project with you. And today, I have even more bee crafts and activities for you—20 of them, to be exact! Everything from bee crafts, bee sensory play, educational bee activities, bee pretend play, and more.
If you want to teach your little one more bees and pollination, I invite you to check out Summer Camp at Home or my Pollinators Family Unit Study. Summer Camp at Home has a whole week dedicated to bees, and the Pollinators Family Unit Study teaches your child about all sorts of powerful pollinators.
The best part? Both resources are planned for you day-by-day, so you simply have to open your coursebook and go. Easy peasy for you, full of fun and learning for your little ones!

DIY Hanging Bee Craft by DIYnCRAFTS – It’s time to raid the recycling bin! With just some paint, string, and a few recycled items, you’ll be all set to make this adorable bee.
Potato Masher Bees by @annedirhersey (link no longer available) – I love this art project! Little ones will have so much fun painting a potato masher to create their bees.
DIY Clay Tic Tac Toe Honey Bees vs. Flowers by Artsy Craftsy Mom – This honey bees vs. flowers tic tac toe set would make for a wonderful afternoon of crafting! Create your little playing pieces, as well as a game board, then enjoy playing with your creations.

Bee Honeycomb by Baker Ross – I hope you have more paper tubes on hand! This craft uses paper tubes glued to a piece of cardboard to make a little honeycomb. Twisting those pipe cleaners to make your bees will also be wonderful fine motor practice for little hands.
Fingerprint Bee Flower Pot by Kippi at Home – Fingerprint art is a favorite around here! You can also grab my Free Fingerprint Art Bundle in this blog post for some more ideas to add to your flower pots.
Yarn Wrapped Bees by Housing a Forest – Yarn wrapping is a wonderful activity for young children! Housing a Forest also added little notches around the outside of the bee bodies to help that yarn stay in place.
Creative Beehive Rope Craft by Dress It Up – Did you know that the typical beehive shape that you see is actually based on a manmade home for bees called a “skep”? Dress It Up has a wonderful video tutorial that shows you how they made this decorative skep.
Pretend Play & Educational Bee Activities
Bee Pollination STEAM Activity by Kaplan Learning Center – Teach your child how pollination works with this simple set up.

Fine Motor and Sensory Bee Play by @the_rural_headteacher – Little ones can use tweezers to try to fill the honeycomb with corn kernels—amazing for fine motor practice and hand strengthening!
Bee Counting Sensory Bin by Happy Toddler Playtime – Another great sensory set up for practicing fine motor skills, with some number recognition added in too.
Bee Anatomy with Playdough by @bodkinandroo – What a beautiful bee! Children can draw their bee on a piece of cardboard and then use playdough to “paint” the bee’s body. Your little ones can also help you whip up a batch of no-cook playdough to use for the activity using my visual playdough recipe!
