I just love Valentine’s Day. A day full of sweetness, kindness, and love is just about the perfect holiday to pop in the middle of winter. And Valentine crafts? That is even better! Crafting up kindness INDOORS cosy and away from all that snow is just about the best way to spend a day in February – at least for this hibernating Mama.

Preschool Crafts for Valentines
Preschool Valentines
Celery Heart Stamped Valentines – Stamping is such a fun and easy way for preschoolers to add shapes and color to their valentines. Grab that limpy celery you never used in last week’s soup – (I can’t be the only one that buys celery with only good intentions) – and put it to good use!
A Preschool Valentine Craft for Grandma – Who wouldn’t swoon receiving this little number as a Valentine? Moms, Dads Gramas and teachers might even be tempted to frame it. This preschool craft for Valentines is easy enough for toddlers to do as well and for older kids to add a thoughtful touch.
Heart Preschool Crafts
String Heart Art – These yarn crafts always turn out beautifully no matter how much or how little yarn you use. This preschool craft for Valentines is more manageable when using cork instead of wood. This way, little one’s can enjoy hammering some nails on their own with requiring a tonne of force.
Gorgeous Heart Crafts for Preschoolers – Here you will find three adorable heart crafts that use materials from nature. Each craft is made with different materials. These would make fabulous gifts for a parent or teacher, and would look sweet decorating a desk or front entrance.
Woven Heart Baskets – Oh, weaving! My nerdy teacher self just loves weaving projects. Not only are they beautiful, but I get so giddy knowing how much kids are learning in the process! This craft is best suited for an older child to make, but it would serve as a perfect Valentine holder for any little one.
A Valentine Name Puzzle – A Valentine’s theme is a great time to talk about shapes, with a focus on the heart, of course. Using these shapes in puzzles is a great way to familiarize little ones with shapes. Turn it into a name puzzle, and your child will also increase their awareness to the letters in their name.
Astonishing Print Making for Kids – Print making is a process that can take many unique turns and result in unique and beautiful art. This project adapts well to different ages and can be framed, used as a card or even wrapping paper.

Pretty Valentine’s Day Flowers – We are well past the season of strolling over to your garden (of weeds?) and hand picking flowers (or weeds?) to freshen up the indoors. So what’s a mama to do? Craft them, of course! Explore beautiful colours with markers and water on coffee filters and use pipecleaners for stems. Ta-da! You could a bouquet in minutes! Well, don’t forget to let them dry!
Paper Plate Valentine Crafts for Preschoolers – My goodness golly! I am always so impressed with the versatility of the humble paper plate. Grab a party set and you can have an easy, low-budget craft for a classroom or a party. Use the left over paper plates from New Years (that’s just me?) and make a craft at home. We have paper plate Valentines, card holders, hats and even paper plate instruments!
Don’t these crafts just make you all nostalgic about your childhood? I remember making so many of these Valentines when I was little. Such sweet memories to hold on to and pass along to my own little preschoolers.
