A photo on Friday.
Happy Friday friends. This week we had some more Christmas-y fun with playdough. The kids were rolling thick and thin ropes of playdough (here is my ultimate no-cook recipe). These ropes were popped on to some white paper candy canes I had cut out. This activity is fabulous for developing and strengthening those tiny hand muscles important for writing down the road. It is also a great activity for practicing patterning and counting.
I ended up covering the white paper with contact paper so it could be used again and again. I just love when an activity warrants a coating of contact paper. It’s kind of like giving that craft a gold medal.
Job well done, paper candy cane, job well done.
