We LOVE the Jillian Jiggs books. All of them! We have made wonderful, marvelous pigs out of cardboard tubes, socks, nylons – and most recently paper bags. And no matter which way we make them, they turn out CUTE. Craft pigs are simply adorable.
Crafts that accompany stories are a great way to get little ones to really engage with the story, re-enact it, and understand it in on a whole different level. These little pigs are a great way for even the littlest maker to make wonderful marvelous pigs with Jillian Jiggs!
Though they just might make their rooms look liked they’re lived in by pigs.
But don’t worry – wonder of wonder, one Saturday morning,
they will clean up without any warning!
They’ll make their room tidy and neat as a pin,
And you’ll wonder who’s room you are in?!
