5 Days of Paper Christmas Crafts

December 18, 2022 by Sarah 26 Comments

If your home is anything like mine this Christmas season, you could use some easy (and I mean crazy easy), fun-filled, sweet memory-making moments in your life. So today, I bring you… my Paper Christmas Crafts!

Make sure you read right to the bottom, as I have a very special giveaway to tell you about as well!

5 Days of Easy, Construction Paper Christmas Crafts

I was brainstorming simple crafts I could do with my kids this holiday season, and I kept going back to the word ‘easy.’ I really wanted things to be straightforward. No trips to the dollarstore for supplies, no ridiculous instructions.

So I came up with 5 construction paper Christmas crafts that are ideal for ALL ages—the whole family—from toddlers to big kids.

All you will need for these 5 Christmas crafts is…

construction paper, glue or tape, and scissors!

That is it!! Get your hands on a pack of multi-colour construction paper, and you are good to go. You will also need some tape, scissors, and glue.

We are going to be making ONE memory-filled, lovely and simple Christmas craft each afternoon together from Monday, December 19th to Friday, December 23rd. Want to join in?

It will be so easy for you to join in! This page will be updated the day before with the craft for the next day. One craft at a time so no one feels overwhelmed, and everyone is surprised at the same time! A little cute Christmas craft surprise each day for you, my sweet friend! And if I could also offer you a lovely Christmas cup of tea, (or wine, depending on the time of day you read this), you know I would!

So get ready! Remember, ALL you will need for all 5 of these paper Christmas crafts is:

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue or Tape
  • Scissors

Easy peasy!

I will also be sharing the crafts on Instagram and Facebook, so if that’s your jam, head on over and follow How Wee Learn. This will be so much fun! It makes me smile thinking of you and your family crafting right alongside me and mine.

Day 1: Winter Tree Art Project

Paper Winter Tree Art Project: This simple idea is so much fun and great for big and little kids alike. Older children can practice making the snow spirals on the tree, and younger children can snip or rip the snow out of the paper. Click through for all the instructions.

Day 2: Ripped Paper Candy Cane Mosaic

Ripped Paper Candy Cane Mosaic: This easy paper Christmas craft was a HUGE hit with my youngest AND my oldest. Very few crafts can achieve that status in my home! For this craft, we ripped up red and green paper and glued it on a candy cane shape—nice and easy, but loads of fun and turns out beautiful.

Day 3: Woven Paper Christmas Basket

Weaving a Paper Christmas Basket: Don’t let this one trick you, it is a VERY easy paper Christmas craft for kids to make. Within this blog post, I also share with you how to make a simple toddler version. Fun and easy for the whole family—I promise!

Day 4: Paper Chain Doll Bracelets

Making Christmas Paper Chains: This simple and classic Christmas craft is a perfect way to use that construction paper! You can make the regular old Christmas red and green paper chains, or you can change it up and make tiny paper chains as bracelets or necklaces perfect to get all of those stuffed animals and dolls festive!

Day 5: Rolled Paper Rudolph

Rolled Paper Rudolph: While I did forget the antlers on this cute little guy, it is still such a fun little craft. Nice and easy to make and the imaginative play after is fantastic!! This construction paper craft makes a great one for older children to make as a gift to younger siblings.

And there you have them! 5 days of simple construction paper Christmas crafts. I hope you liked the variety and I REALLY hope they helped you and yours to get in the holiday spirit.

Now for the giveaway! 🎉

UPDATE: The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to the winner, Kaitlyn G!

Thank you! I can’t wait to do these with my grand-daughter. She is about to be turning 4 this coming up February and she is all hands on right now which I love. I also have a 1 and a half year old grandson who loves copying everything his big sister does! He has to have a crayon and paper if we are coloring and gets super mad when he cant have my scissors lol But I absolutely love his age too! Everything is so amazing, and wow to him! Thats actually one of his favorite words right now… he sees something that catches his eyes and he points and says wow! too precious! Anyway, just wanted to say Thank you for all you send out to us all!
