Solar System Button Snake by School Time Snippets – Preschoolers can learn the order of the planets with this simple solar system button snake fine motor activity. You will need the planets printable, ribbon, and buttons. 

Moon Dust Writing Tray by Stir the Wonder – This Moon Dust writing tray is a fun way for preschoolers to practice handwriting. All you need is some gray-colored salt or sand and a writing utensil to make this space-themed fine motor activity. 

Yarn Wrapped Planets by And Next Comes L – Get creative with this fine motor activity! All you need are some cardboard cutouts of the planets and some yarn!

Astronaut Fine Motor Training by Stir the Wonder – Preschoolers will love pretending to be an astronaut with this fine motor activity! All you need are some building toys like wooden bolts and some winter gloves.

Space Yoga Pose Ideas by Pink Oatmeal – Have fun stretching with these space-themed yoga poses! Preschoolers will have even more fun if they are dressed up like astronauts!

Gross Motor Moon Phases by Learn Play Imagine – Preschoolers will learn the phases of the moon with this interactive gross motor activity. All you need are some large cards with the moon phases on them. 

Reach for the Stars by Mrs. Plemon’s Kindergarten – Reach for the Stars is a great gross motor activity to get preschoolers reaching, stretching, and jumping in place. For this activity, you’ll need some plastic glow-in-the-dark stars and party streamers.

Alphabet Star Search Sensory Bin by Pre-K Pages – With this simple space-themed sensory bin, preschoolers will learn to recognize the letters of the alphabet. All you need is a bin of black beans and little paper stars with letters written on them. 

Easy to Play Rhyming Planet and Stars Matching Game by 3 Dinosaurs – This space-themed literacy activity is a lot of fun! Preschoolers will work to match the rhyming words on the planet and star cards. 

Smashing ABC Moon Rocks by Stir the Wonder – Preschoolers will love searching the moon rocks for the correct letter and then smashing them with a hammer! For this activity, you’ll need some baked cotton balls and a toy hammer.
